Hendon suffered the most agonising possible end to a great season, losing a promotion playoff final on penalties. Hendon came up just short against Margate at a freezing cold Hartsdown Park on Saturday.

Hendon moved back into the Bostik League Premier Division playoffs with a comfortable victory over Thurrock at Silver Jubilee Park on Saturday afternoon.

Hendon live to fight another day in the Buildbase FA Trophy after Kezie Ibe scored an equaliser with almost the last kick of the third round qualifying tie at Silver Jubilee Park on Saturday afternoon.

Hendon were denied all three points, and a double over the current leaders Dulwich Hamlet, when Rickie Hayles scored with almost the last kick of the match on Tuesday.

Hendon were far too strong for Burgess Hill Town in the second round qualifying of the Buildbase FA Trophy at Silver Jubilee Park on Saturday.

The top two teams in the Bostik Premier Division served up a fantastic match for nearly 2,000 supporters (a record league attendance at the AGP Arena) on Non-League day, but it was home side Billericay who clinched victory.

Hendon produced a clinical second-half performance to take apart a Tooting & Mitcham United team forced to play for more than an hour with 10 men.
