WEMBLEY student Nathan Fox is aiming for a hat-trick next year after winning his second triple jump gold medal at the British Universities Indoor Championships.

Fox, who trains with former Commonwealth champion Larry Achike, recorded a best jump of 15.21m to take gold for the second time at the English Institute of Sports in Sheffield last weekend.

The 20-year-old, who is a business and management student at Brunel University, west London, competes for Shaftesbury Barnet Harriers.

He said: “I am delighted with winning the BUC title for the second time and I hope to make it three in a row next year.

“It was important for me to finish the indoor season on a positive and hopefully I can continue to improve and gain even more achievements in the summer.”
