Triple jumper from Wembley going for gold in London

A triple jumper from Wembley will be appearing at the World Athletics Championships in London.
Nathan Fox, 26, will be the first triple jumper to compete for Great Britian at a major competition since 2012.
The tournament will be Fox’s debut on the main stage for Great Britain. He previously competed for England at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in 2014, finsihing 6th.
The British athlte, who has ambitions to appear at the next Olympics, will actually be facing his own coach, Tosin Oke, who will be representing Nigeria.
Aged just 14, Fox broke the British record to become the first person under 15 to jump over 14 metres.
Looking ahead to London, Fox cannot wait to get started.
“I want to do my country proud. I hope to be able to reach the final and be the next great triple jumper,” he said.
Fox will go through a round of qualifying on August 7th where the field will be whittled down to a 12-man final on August 10th.
