John Keble Primary School have been celebrating after winning the prestigious Brent Cup trophy for the second time in three years.

They fell behind early on against Sinai Primary in a hard-fought final, but stuck together and played some fine football.

John Keble eventually came from behind in high temperatures to claim a 4-1 win, keeping alive their hopes of a treble.

Having already won the Brent League, they now have their sights set on the Brent League Cup as they look to emulate the achievements of former pupils.

Coach Eddie Prempeh said: “It has been four years of hard work and dedication by the boys.

“They have been working towards playing on a bigger stage and now that moment has arrived.”

John Keble will represent Chelsea at the Premier League Schools’ finals at Leicester (May 23) as well as QPR at the EFL Cup at Wembley (May 26).
