Greenlands Lane club lost 31-17 at home to Hitchin last Saturday

Hendon go in search of a first win in four Herts/Middlesex One matches when they make the trip to Wasps on Saturday.

The Greelands Lane club were beaten 31-17 last Saturday at home to Hitchin, their third successive loss in the league.

Chris Kiyingi and Will Theaker both crossed for tries for Hendon in the defeat, while Cian Hynes added seven points from the team.

The loss was the first time this team the Greenlands Lane club had failed to take any points, either for a win or by way of bonus, in a game this term.

Hendon will look to make up for that disappointment this weekend as they head for Wasps.

However, it looks set to be a difficult task with Wasps currently sitting atop the table after taking maximum points in each of their first four matches.

The Greelands Lane club will bid to be the first team to stop Wasps this term as they look to put an end to their poor run of form.
