Greenlands Lane club lost 33-22 at Bank of England last weekend

Hendon will look to return to winning ways in Herts/Middlesex One on Saturday when they play host to leaders Finsbury Park.

The Greenlands Lane club suffered a fifth defeat of the season last weekend as they went down 33-22 on their trip to Bank of England.

Donal O’Sullivan, Cian Hynes and TJ O’Sullivan all crossed for tries for Hendon last weekend, but were unable to inspire their team to victory.

Having failed to finish within seven points of Bank or score at least four tries, the Greenlands Lane club were unable to take anything from the game.

Hendon will hope to put that result behind them in time to entertain Finsbury Park this Saturday.

Finsbury Park currently lead the standings after winning six of their first seven games this term, but only points difference is keeping them above Hitchin.

It seems, then, that it could be a tough task for Hendon to claim a triumph in the league on Saturday.
