WILLESDEN Cycling Club's Gill Reynolds received an award from Olympic cyclist Don McKellow for her year's achievements in the sport.
Reynolds (pictured, left) received the plaque for the events she won in the West London Cycling Association Time Trials this year.
McKellow, who also presented an award to Meurig James, was a member of the 1952 Olympic cycling team.
On Saturday, Peter Dixon was 16th in the third cat race of the Imperial RT series at Hillingdon cycle circuit.
n The Imperial Winter Series started at Hillingdon Circuit on Saturday, with all of the events having large fields.
The third and fourth category events were run at the same time and this caused some confusion when the thirds caught the fourths. Tom London was unfortunate to be brought down and injured his leg, while Lance Woodman found the pace too fast.
Pete Dixon and Rich Cooper stayed in and managed to finish in the bunch sprint. Dixon finished 42nd out of a field of 68 in the 52Km event. Cooper in the third category event was always in the top 10 but lost out in the bunch sprint to finish18th.
