BRENDAN Greene's consistent form earned him the Chiltern League Division Two bronze medal as Queen's Park Harriers finished second in their final match of the season.

Greene was QPH's fastest finisher in Saturday's race at Stockwood Park, Luton, crossing the line in sixth place in a time of 39 minutes 13 seconds.

Michael Dmitrzak, who has been improving throughout his debut season, was hot on Greene's heels in ninth (39:31), with another good prospect, Jenell El-Bahradri, 14th in 39:56.

Veteran Frank Nolan was next home for QPH, taking 38th place in a time of 44:07 - enough to secure the overall bronze medal in the over-50 age group - while Wayne Roye ran steadily to finish 42nd (44:07).

Andy Angus, who has been dogged by injury, finished three places behind Roye in 46:02, with James Walerych neck and neck in 60th and 61st places respectively, both clocking 47:41.

Aaron Smith was the final QPH scorer in 79th place (54:56), with John Walerych (69:26) and Doddridge Benjamin (75:38) also completing the course.

In the women's race, Tanya Roye made her league debut for the club and finished strongly to take 23rd place in 30:15.
