The latest news from the London Netball Academy club

London Netball Academy under-12s ended the calendar year on a high with wins in their final two games of 2018.

The youngsters’ first match of the weekend saw them come up against Twickenham-based Lolly.

In a close-fought fixture, LNA triumphed 8-7 despite the game being played in slippery conditions underfoot.

Next up for the youngsters were Grasshoppers, who would again provide stiff opposition.

However, LNA showed their class to eventually ease to a 10-2 success in their second match of the day.

The team for both matches was comprised of young players from both the LNA and Renegades clubs.

It was a fine way for the youngsters to bring the curtain down on the year with victory in their last two games before Christmas.

And LNA will look to carry that fine form into the New Year when they will return to the court following a well-earned break over the Christmas period.
