The latest news from the Pride Judo Club

Pride Judo Club collected nine medals at the London Area and Northern Home Countries Red and Yellow Belt Development Competition, including three golds.

Making his debut for the club, Rohan Mundy, eight, was in impressive form as he took a gold medal.

Jignasha Kumar, 15, was another debutant and also claimed a gold medal after a string of good displays.

The other gold medal won by Pride went the way of Ruqayyah Mubanga, eight, who was tenacious in her groundwork throughout.

Silver medals went to Teddy Green (13), Arianna Fever (10) and Kuka da Silva-Busti (eight).

Daniel Fagyas (10), Boglarka Fagyas (eight) and debutant Meghanna Pudur (10) all took home bronze medals.

Pride practice every Monday and Wednesday from 5-7pm at the Vale Farm Sports Centre, and every Friday from 6-8pm at the ARK Elvin Academy.
