Just Sports FC Under-12s returned home from the ESF Festival of Football in Bognor Regis as champions after a dramatic win in the final on penalties.

The Just Sports youngsters advanced unbeaten through the group stage to the knockouts, where a 4-3 shoot-out victory against Kennington Athletic was enough to secure the championship.

The players were then presented with their trophy by former France and Arsenal legend Robert Pires (pictured).

By winning the tournament, Just Sports automatically qualify for the ESF Finale – which is the biggest youth football festival in the country and takes place later this year at the University of Warwick Football Centre.

Just Sports’ William Joseph said: “It’s been a great experience for us all and one which I’m sure the lads will remember for years to come. We had a great time across the whole weekend and put in some tremendous performances on the pitch.

“For the team to meet Robert Pires topped off a fantastic weekend. The boys are all set for Warwick in July and the ESF Finale!”
