LEADING scorer Liam Holly shattered Dulwich with a late point to seal an excellent 1-13 to 1-12 win for Harlesden in a thrilling Division Two clash on Sunday.

A strong Dulwich side more than matched their hosts in the first half and went in at the break with a 1-7 to 1-6 lead, but Harlesden flew out of the blocks after the restart.

Building up a three-point lead with only 10 minutes to go, Harlesden seemed to have the points in the bag, but they reckoned without the determination of Dulwich, who drew level three minutes from time.

There was still enough time, though, for Holly to settle the contest, firing in a sweetly-struck finish from 30 yards.

In Division Three, Shalloe Pearse gained a walkover when Robert Emmett's were unable to field a full team - but Pearses manager Liam Cahill ensured his side did not waste their time.

Loaning the Emmett's five players for the day, Cahill arranged a challenge match in preparation for next week's league encounter with Thomas McCurtains, rated as one of the division's strongest teams.

Harlesden Harps scorers: Holly 0-6, O'Halloran 1-1, Devine 0-1, Flannery 0-1, Rahilly 0-1, Irwin 0-1, J Somers 0-1, D Somers 0-1.
