Brendan Greene kept up his recent form after his escapades at the Luton Marathon when Queen's Park Harriers hosted the North of the Thames event in Kingsbury.

Greene ran a superb tactical race over two-and-a-half laps to finish 49th in 29:07. Michael Dmitrazk was not far behind Greene in the race in 52nd with 29:17.

Joe Sinclair ran splendidly finishing 77th in 31:28, while Andrew Galligan managed 82nd place in 32:03, and the most impressive run of the day came from Frank Nolan, who finished in 32:13.

The reliable Richard Davis finished on 36:16, while Steve Newark (37:08) was followed by Peter Wilkinson (38:45) and John Walerych in (47:53). Jacquie Young also ran in the ladies race and came 52nd in 31:44.
