Goalkeeper Montel Joseph and under-14 captain Toby Salt-Emmerson picked up two of the top awards at Forest United’s end-of-season presentation ceremony on Saturday.

Joseph, who plays for Forest under-15s, won the goalkeeper’s award (for commitment to developing and perfecting your skills), while Emmerson-Salt took the chairman’s award for solid commitment and dedication.

Each member of the Kenton club’s under-13 team received a ‘commitment under adversity’ award, while the Jim Bragg Achievement Award for parents’ support went to Richard and Josie Pearce.

Forest chairman Richard Page said: “My first year as chairman brought home just how hard our president, Jim Bragg, has worked. My admiration for and thanks to him are without limit.”

Freddie Burgess won the under-13s’ player of the season award, with Tariq Ogunsola named players’ player of the year and Matthew Halpin winning the manager’s award.

Kai Christie, Suraj Sheth and David Sullivan took those respective awards at under-14 level, while Kian Sadigh, Deandre Johnson and Niall Conroy were the under-15A winners.

Eric Medina won both the player of the season and players’ player award in the under-15B team, with Jean Luc Mutesa matching that feat for the C team and Doris Likcani (B) and Chris Baruani (C) winning the manager’s awards.

Rumaro Sylvester was the under-16 player of the season, while Kristian Edwards and Randy Spence shared the players’ player award and Connor Fountaine took the manager’s award.

Adebambo Akinjogbin netted four times as AFC Wembley under-12s retained their Harrow Youth League Premier Division title by hammering Parkfield A 10-2.

Akinjogbin – who has been signed up by Brentford, along with team-mate Tyrick Mitchell – opened the scoring for AFCW and then set up top scorer Rhys Clement to make it 2-0.

The floodgates opened as AFCW racked up a 6-1 lead at half-time and there was no let-up after the break, with Akinjogbin hitting two more goals and Clement and Kalen Clarke both completing hat-tricks.

That was Clarke’s second treble of the week as he had already scored three in AFCW’s 6-0 win over Ruislip Town, with Mitchell, Akinjogbin and Clement also on target.
