Pre-season friendlies: Wealdstone 0 Maidenhead United 0; London Colney 2 Hendon 2

Wealdstone continued their pre-season preparations with a goalless draw at home to National League side Maidenhead United.

Stones stopper Jonathan North was a busy man in the opening 45 minutes, producing three good saves to deny the Magpies a goal.

The second half was robbed of momentum as both sides made a host of changes, but Bobby Wilkinson will be pleased to see his team get more minutes under their belts.

Saturday sees Wealdstone again tackle National League opposition as they welcome Aldershot Town to Grosvenor Vale.

* Hendon were held to a 2-2 draw at Spartan South Midlands Premier outfit London Colney in their latest pre-season friendly.

The Greens took the lead in the fourth minute through Matty Newman, but were pegged back two minutes later by the hosts.

Cole Brown then fired the Silver Jubilee Park outfit ahead again in the 21st minute, before Colney levelled once more 17 minutes from time.

Jimmy Gray’s men welcome Haringey Borough of the Bostik Premier in their next game on Saturday.

* Harrow Borough took on London Tigers in a pre-season friendly last night.
