St Panteleimon moved top of the Middlesex County League Division one after making it 19 games unbeaten in the league with a 4-2 victory against AFC.

The Saints took the lead early with a superb move and finish by Nikos Salapatas at Berkeley Fields.

AFC came back quickly and within 10 minutes it was 1-1 before they then took a 2-1 lead.

Noyan Tajbaksh then levelled to make it 2-2 around the 20-minute mark and it was soon 3-2 to Saints as Nikos Salapatas rushed forward with the ball on the left wing and picked out Katsoloudis at the near post.

Ayub Albadri extended the Saints lead to 4-2 after cutting in from the wing and firing the ball into the back of the net.

In the second half the Saints started calmly and controlled much of the game.

In the end, the steel, passion and determination of the Saints saw them pick up a well deserved three points.
