The Saints were made work hard for a point in a 0-0 draw against Wilberforce Wanderers on the Greek Orthodox Holy and Great Saturday.

Despite failing to pick up three points the Saints moved up to second in the league after the draw at the Hive.

They deserved more however, with dominant possession and creative play, but no goals for the first time this season.

St. Panteleimon made all the running in the first 15 minutes, having good possession and passing, before Nick Salapatas hit the post with a curling shot.

Continued possession by St Panteleimon gave Wilberforce nothing in terms of chances or movement. Anton Wilson almost scored with a shot just past the post.

The first half ended with the Saints knowing they deserved more.

The same pattern emerged in the second half and a few more missed chances resulted in a frustrated crowd and players.
