QPR midfielder in no rush to discuss new deal

QPR midfielder Niko Kranjcar says he will wait until the end of the season before discussing his future with Harry Redknapp.
Kranjcar is at Loftus Road on a season-long loan from Dynamo Kiev, and scored his second Rangers goal in the 3-1 win over Ipswich Town last weekend.
Rs manager Redknapp has already hinted that he could seek to make the Croatia international’s deal permanent, but Kranjcar (pictured, left) is in no rush to make a decision.
“We’re focused on promotion. Once that is sorted out we will sit down and talk,” said Kranjcar. “My main goal is to get into the Premier League with QPR. We’ll talk about it at the end of the season, but I’m very happy here.”
Kranjcar opened the scoring at Portman Road as QPR got their promotion bid back on track following a disappointing run of results over Christmas, when they were beaten by Leicester City and Nottingham Forest and held to a draw by Watford.
But victory in East Anglia ensured that Rangers stay third in the Championship, just one point behind Burnley and five behind league leaders Leicester City.
Kranjcar believes they have rediscovered the momentum they had earlier in the season.
He added: “It was important after winning at home against Doncaster, when we ground them down in the last minute, to follow it with a win at Ipswich.
“It’s a massive three points for us and we have to build on it. We have the quality. We were disappointed with the performances last month, we did not perform to our standard.
“But it is slowly coming back and we have to keep on getting these results. I believe we have the quality in the team to win away from home.”
