Rs teenager extends contract until summer of 2021

Queens Park Rangers forward Aramide Oteh has signed a new three-year deal with the Sky Bet Championship club.

The teenager, who turns 20 later this month, has signed a new contract that will take him through to the summer of 2021.

Oteh joined QPR after being released from Tottenham Hotspur and the attacker made his first-team debut when coming on as a substitute away to Millwall in the league last December.

And after agreeing a new deal with the Rs, the attacker is looking forward to the coming years in west London.

“I’ve found it a great place to be, a great place to learn. I feel like I have progressed a lot thanks to the help of people like Chris Ramsey and Les Ferdinand. They have helped me to develop as a player,” Oteh told the club website.

“Now it’s all about pushing on to be even better.

“I’ve had a taste of first-team football and I want to get back there. I know that I’ve just got to keep doing what I’m doing with the under-23s to hopefully get there again and stay there.

“I want to keep on improving and keep on showing desire and hungriness – I want to show that the manager (Steve McClaren) can trust me.”
