QPR are continuing to monitor developments regarding the future of Wycombe Wanderers defender Aaron Pierre.
The 23-year-old has been a stand-out performer for the Chairboys during the last two league campaigns, attracting interest from a host of sides this summer.
Pierre has been offered an extension to his contract at the League Two outfit, however he is yet to agree to those demands, with it still a possibility that the towering centre-half could move on this summer.
Rangers have been impressed with the progress the former Brentford youngster has made under the tutelage of former QPR favourite Gareth Ainsworth.
A move for Pierre would very much depend on the future of Steven Caulker, though. Rs boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has made it clear he wants to keep hold of the former Tottenham defender this summer, with Caulker happy to remain in west London.
However, with the 24-year-old one of the highest earners on the club’s books he could still make an exit before the transfer window closes, with various Premier League clubs still monitoring his progress.
Elsewhere, the Rs have made an official enquiry to Tottenham regarding the availability of Alex Pritchard.
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino has notified the 23-year-old that he has no future at White Hart Lane, with the former Brentford loanee now on the look out to secure a move away.
The Times understands there are as many 10 clubs interested in signing the midfield playmaker, including recently relegated Norwich and Newcastle.
Promotion chasing Brighton are also keen on Pritchard, while Premier League outfits Swansea and Middlesbrough have also been showing interest in the England Under-21 intenational.
The Rs are also desperate to get Sandro off their wage bill before the window closes. The 27-year-old has recently been training with the club’s under-21s side and is actively seeking a move away from W12.
