SOUTH Kilburn are set to move to a new ground this summer as they prepare for a push for promotion next season.

The club are aiming to be settled into their new home at Vale Farm Sports Centre in Wembley by August, in time for the new campaign, and have a contract there for two years.

Work is already underway to upgrade facilities after their decision to leave their current ground at Broadfields Country Club following the arrival of new owners.

"We had to look for somewhere viable, the pitch is a bit rough but we're already making improvements and we should be pushing on," said manager Mick Jennings.

"We've already got a few pre-season games in place, but the main thing now is to get sponsors, people to help pay for refereeing fees and transport.

"We're always on the hunt for new players as well. We want to make the most of the talent in the borough and we lost a few last season so we do need new players."

n ANY sponsors willing to assist the club, and anyone interested in playing should call Mick Jennings on 07949736708.
