The team’s rapidly improving consistency and impressive results ensured the capture of the award throughout a month that saw home wins against Whitehawk and Truro City and a first away win in the league at an in-form Welling United.

In amongst those wins was an equally meritorious, hard-fought, draw away at Chippenham Town, another outfit that are on a great run of results.

A beaming Wilkinson said: “This award is recognition for the whole team and everyone at Wealdstone. It’s not about me.

“I would like to thank all the players, my management team, my chairman Peter Marsden, vice-chairman Nick Archer, board, all our fans and my family for their support and what we are building here.

“We are working at this 24/7. For me personally it is a great honour to have achieved this award and is dedicated to my family.”

*Wealdstone will remember servicemen and women who gave their lives in two World Wars and conflicts around the world with a pre-match wreath laying ceremony before their Vanarama National League South match versus Hungerford Town at Grosvenor Vale on November 11 (3pm).

A bugler will play the last post as part of the remembrance ceremony during the minute’s silence as the club remembers former players who fell during the World Wars, including P Andrews, CF Bellchambers, C Bird, RW Bradberry, W Cozens, R Goodage, W Howman, F Martin and G Robertson (1914-18) and K Baldwin, R Bidewell, CE Bunce, WA Burton, WW Parr, E Walker and WA Winterbottom (1939-45).

The club hope to attract a bumper crowd with no Premiership or Championship matches scheduled for due to international duties and all military personnel will be admitted to the match at the concessionary rate of £9 (instead of £13) on production of their ID.

Current season ticket holders of all Premiership/Championship clubs are also offered a reduced admission price by showing their ticket at the gate.

Under-14s are admitted free when accompanied by an adult. For further information visit
