Ball latest player to commit to Greens

Hendon have continued to mould their squad ahead of the new campaign, with Matt Ball agreeing to stay at Silver Jubilee Park for the upcoming Isthmian Premier campaign.

After joining last term from National League South side St Albans City, Ball helped the Greens avoid relegation from the Isthmian Premier after netting seven goals in 20 appearances.

Hendon boss Gary McCann will hope Ball can continue to find the next term, though perhaps without the pressure of a battle at the bottom.

“Good to see scorer of many vital goals at the end of last season Matt Ball putting pen to paper. Please keep budget pledges coming,” read a post on Hendon’s Twitter account.

The Greens have also added another friendly to their pre-season schedule, with a trip to Isthmian North side Potters Bar Town lined up for August 1 at 7.30pm.

Hendon have already announced friendlies with Hanwell Town, Dunstable Town, Ebbsfleet United, Whitehawk and VCD Athletic.
