Greens won 2-1 at home to Staines Town in the FA Trophy last weekend

Hendon make the trip to fellow high-flyers Salisbury this Saturday as they return to action in the Evo-Stik South Premier South.

The Greens took part in the FA Trophy last weekend, coming from behind to win 2-1 at home to divisional rivals Staines Town in the first qualifying round.

James Gray’s men were behind at half-time after the Swans took an early lead in the clash.

However, Connor Calcutt and Cole Brown both netted after the interval to send the Silver Jubilee Park outfit through to the next round, pocketing £3,250 in prize money.

Hendon’s reward is another home tie in the second qualifying round as they welcome Biggleswade Town on the Evo-Stik South Premier central on November 10.

Before that, however, is the small matter of the trip to second-place Salisbury in the league for the Greens, who are currently third.

It looks set to be a mouthwatering clash for all involved.
