Evo-Stik South Premier South: Kings Langley 2 Harrow Borough 4
Harrow Borough collected their first win of the Evo-Stik South Premier South season with a 4-2 win away to Kings Langley.
Boro went into the match having suffered a 3-2 defeat at home to Weymouth in their opening game of the new term on Saturday.
Steve Baker’s men, though, got off to a good start against Kings Langley and took the lead in the 10th minute through a George Moore free-kick.
Bayley Brown then doubled the lead for the Rogers Family Stadium club as they took a strong hold on proceedings.
Three minutes into the second half, Moore grabbed his second of the match to make it 3-0 to Harrow.
And in the 51st minute, the visitors had their fourth when Ryan Haugh found the target with a low drive.
Jorrell Johnson and Jacob Cook netted late on for Kings Langley, something that is sure to annoy Baker as he would have wanted Boro to record a clean sheet.
Instead, he must now wait until Saturday for hopefully Harrow’s first shutout of the new term when they visit Wimborne Town.
