Boro play their final two friendly matches this week before start of league season

Harrow Borough will play their final two friendly matches this week as the start of the new Evo-Stik South Premier South campaign draws ever closer.

Boro tackle Bostik Premier side Burgess Hill Town on Saturday, before facing Hanwell Town of the Bostik South Central on Tuesday night.

The past week of pre-season has seen Steve Baker’s men go unbeaten in their two friendly matches.

The Rogers Family Stadium club secured a 2-2 draw on Saturday against Combined Counties Premier Division side Cherstey Town, managed by ex-Harrow boss Dave Anderson.

Boro followed that up on Tuesday night when they recorded a 3-1 victory against Egham Town, known as the Sarnies, of the Bostik South Central.

The friendly matches this week will give Baker a last chance to take a look at his squad ahead of Harrow’s first Evo-Stik South Premier South game of the season at home to Weymouth on August 11
