Bury Town 3 Harrow Borough 2

Shaun Lucien scored twice for Harrow Borough on Tuesday night, but it wasn’t enough as Bury Town edged an end-to-end contest.

Lucien, cancelled out Adam Bailey-Dennis’s opening goal for Bury, only for John Sands to score twice and put Bury into a commanding 3-1 lead.

Lucien had the final say with a late, low free-kick which went in off the post, but Harrow ran out of time as Bury completed their first win over the Earlsmead side at the seventh attempt.

Meanwhile, Borough this week announced a major new sponsorship deal with multi-national building services contractor Axis Group.

A spokesperson for Axis Group said: “Harrow Borough FC has its roots firmly planted in the local community and we are delighted to be sponsoring the club next season.

“We’ve been impressed by the board’s commitment and are excited by their plans for the future. Our aim is to help the club reach its full potential.”
