HENDON'S miserable run of Ryman League form was extended to seven defeats in eight as they went down 2-0 at Staines Town.

The Greens were reduced to 10 men just before half-time when defender Kevin Maclaren was red-carded for a dangerous aerial challenge on Staines' Lewis Cook.

Gary McCann's side were already a goal down by then, with Richard Butler netting on the half-hour after Richard Wilmot had saved his initial effort.

Hendon offered little in attack and their fate was sealed when Butler grabbed his second 15 minutes from the end, again following up the rebound from Wilmot's save.

Harrow Borough remain just above Hendon in the relegation zone after they conceded three times in the second half to lose 3-0 at Harlow Town.

It was a similar story at Grosvenor Vale, where Wealdstone held Tooting & Mitcham to a goalless first half, only to collapse to a 3-0 reverse.
