TOP SCORER Jelani Inyama took his tally to 13 goals in 10 games as AFC Wembley under-nines completed their first phase of soccer sevens with a 10th straight win.

Also finding the net was Amari Ofosu-Newman, as Wembley overcame Ealing & Acton Whistlers 2-0.

The under-10s A team lost 1-0 to Greenford Celtic on Saturday, but were in free-scoring mood against Hanwell Town with Daniel Silva, Meshach Davis and Mikele Platt all finding the net in a 3-1 win.

Joseph Madeinlo gave the under-10s B side the lead against St Andrews, but Wembley's opponents then hit back either side of half time to take a 2-1 win.

There were two goals for Trevor White as the under-13s won 3-0 at Pittshanger, with Kain Dunn-Brown also on target, but the under-11s suffered a narrow 3-2 defeat at the hands of Hampstead.

The under-10s C team played out an end-to-end game and eventually drew 4-4 at Mill Lane Village.

But there was a double defeat for the under-14s, who lost 4-0 at home to Sandgate in the Middlesex Cup, and the under-15s, who were defeated 3-1 at Harrow St Marys.
