Brent Girls’ Super Cup final: Brent under-11s 5 Queens Park Sharks 0

Brent under-11 girls’ football team continued a fine campaign with a superb 5-0 victory over Queens Park Sharks in the inaugural Brent Girls’ Super Cup final.

A brilliant hat-trick from Brent captain Guissepina Carnevale set the game alight in the first half.

Sharks could have pulled one back before the break on the counter-attack, but were thwarted by a super stop from Brent keeper Milly-May Blue.

Brent made several changes at half-time, and replacements Tammy Nathanial and Brianna John-Etiko made an instant impact.

Nathanial reacted quickest to score after a goal mouth scramble John-Etiko rounded out the scoring with a thunderous drive.

“This is a reward for all of the hard work the girls have put in not just today but throughout the whole season,” said Brent coach Chris Ampofo.

“The whole squad have contributed including players that weren’t here today. They are improving all the time. It is great to see and I am very proud of them.”

Brent: Carnevale, Dibley-Dias, Ulusele, Rosenberg, Nathanial, Lewis, John- Etiko, Blue, Silva, Mir, Margetson.
