Wealdstone will make the trip to Biggleswade Town in the first round of this season’s FA Trophy.

The draw for the first round proper was made like on talkSPORT 2, with teams from the Vanarama National League entering the competition.

Stones, though, avoided the likes of former Football League clubs Leyton Orient and Barnet, but were instead handed a trip to the Waders.

Bobby Wilkinson’s men made it through to the first round proper thanks to a 3-2 win at National League South rivals Concord Rangers on Saturday.

Wingate & Finchley, meanwhile, know victory in their replay against Chippenham Town on Tuesday will see them host either Welling United or Dulwich Hamlet.

The Blues gave a good account of themselves at the weekend to come from behind to earn a 1-1 draw at Chippenham.

Ties in the first round will take place over the weekend of December 15, with the victors pocketing £6,000 in the process.

FA Trophy first qualifying round, selected ties: Chippenham Town or WINGATE & FINCHLEY v Welling United or Dulwich Hamlet; Biggleswade Town v WEALDSTONE.
