MARCUS Fearon and Jerome Scarlett were on target for South Kilburn in their Hellenic League opener on Saturday - but they were denied victory by Richard Carr's late equaliser.

Scarlett gave Kilburn the lead with their first real chance of the first half; the winger racing away from the visitors' defence to slot home.

He then then set up Fearon to tap in the second goal just after half-time, before Kilburn took their foot off the gas.

And they were punished as Lewis Craker headed in a free-kick, before, deep into injury-time, Carr sent another header into the top corner to seal a share of the spoils.
