Hendon will look to extend their nine-match unbeaten run over the next week with two more crucial matches.

The Greens will visit Bostik Premier rivals Margate on Saturday aiming to keep hold of their place in the play-off positions.

Gary McCann’s men then return to Silver Jubilee Park on Tuesday for a home clash with Hanwell Town in the quarter-finals of the London Senior Cup.

Hendon go into both games with huge confidence after more success over the past few days.

On Saturday, goals from Casey Maclaren, Dave Diedhiou and a brace from Niko Muir helped defeat Thurrock 4-1 at Silver Jubilee Park to move the club back into the top-five.

And that victory was followed up with a 2-1 success at Hythe Town on Tuesday in the last-16 of the Velocity Trophy with Keagan Cole and Kezie Ibe on target.

Hendon’s aim now will be to chalk up more wins and stay on course for silverware.
