Greens unbeaten in their last three matches in the league

Hendon will look to build on a solid Easter campaign when they visit Worthing in the Bostik Premier on Saturday.

The Greens took four points over the Bank Holiday weekend, beating Metropolitan Police 2-0 on Saturday, before drawing 2-2 at Wingate & Finchley on Monday.

Goals from Oliver Sprague and Josh Walker helped Gary McCann’s men to a win at home to Met Police, though Dave Diedhiou did see red for the hosts.

Niko Muir then netted twice from the penalty spot to earn his team a share of the spoils against Wingate.

The results have strengthened Hendon’s push for a play-off spot this term, with the Greens well positioned to finish in the top five this term.

And another win at home to Worthing this weekend will be more than welcome at Silver Jubilee Park as McCann’s men look to make it four games without defeat in the league, with the end of the season fast approaching.
