Greens drew 1-1 at Merstham and at home to Margate over the past week
Hendon visit Tooting & Mitcham United in the Bostik Premier on Saturday, looking to maintain their spot in the play-off places with all three points.
A 1-1 draw at Merstham on Tuesday night saw the Greens, currently fifth, open up a two-point gap over Staines Town, who sit just outside the play-off places.
Niko Muir opened the scoring from the spot for the Greens at the Moatsiders from in the 20th minute.
However, the Silver Jubilee Park outfit were pegged back 19 minutes later when Simon Cooper scored for the hosts.
The draw at Merstham followed another 1-1 draw at home to promotion-chasing Margate on Saturday.
Hendon had a bright start to that match, with Josh Walker putting them ahead in just the third minute.
However, the Greens let their lead slip three minutes before half time when Jay May equalised for the Gate.
The draws with Merstham and Margate this week mean the Greens have seen each of their last three games end 1-1, having also played out that result with Lowestoft Town earlier this month.
Gary McCann’s men will look to break that run on Saturday by claiming all three points on their trip south of the river to face Tooting.
When the sides met at Silver Jubilee Park earlier in the campaign, Hendon eased to a 4-0 success.
Arthur Lee, Matt Ball, Zak Joseph and Josh Walker were all on target for the Greens against the Terrors in September.
McCann will hope his team can collect a similar result this weekend to remain in the play-off places.
Victory at Tooting would also boost Hendon’s confidence ahead of a crucial game at Staines Town on Tuesday night.
With the Greens currently having a slender leave over the Massive in the table, two wins this week could be all important in the battle to reach the play-offs.
McCann will be all to aware of how important this week could be for the Greens as they look to finish in the top five in the league.
And while there is a big game against Staines, his first focus will no doubt be on the trip to Tooting’s Imperial Fields on Saturday.
