Boro beat Merstham and Enfield Town over Easter weekend

After an excellent Easter period, Harrow Borough will hope for more Bostik Premier success when they visit Brightlingsea Regent on Saturday.

Boro took a giant stride towards safety with back-to-back wins at Merstham and at home to Enfield Town over the Easter weekend.

On Saturday, Kurtis Cumberbatch netted the game’s only goal in the 73rd minute as Steve Baker’s men beat Merstham 1-0 on the road.

Cumberbatch also found the target on Monday as he netted twice in a 5-0 rout of Enfield.

Ryan Moss was another to double up in that game, while Shaun Preddie also scored as the Rogers Family Stadium outfit ran riot.

The results over the weekend have all but ensured Harrow’s place in the league again next season, barring a dreadful end to the term.

And with safety all but secured, Boro will hope that allows them to play with more freedom against Regent this weekend.
