Boro beat Thurrock 2-0 at home in league last Saturday

Harrow Borough go in search of a third Bostik Premier win in four matches when they make the trip to Metropolitan Police on Saturday.

Boro head into the clash off the back of a 2-0 win at home to Thurrock last weekend, with Kurtis Cumberbatch scoring twice.

After a goalless first half at the Rogers Family Stadium, Cumberbatch opened the scoring in the 51st minute.

The forward then doubled the lead for Steve Baker’s men two minutes from time to secure the points.

Harrow had been due to visit Rayners Lane in the Middlesex Charity Cup on Tuesday, but saw that match called off because of a waterlogged pitch.

Boro will now visit the Spartan South Midlands One side in the cup on February 27, all going well.

Before that, though, Baker’s boys face a trip to Met Police this weekend as they look to maintain their recent good form in the league.

When Harrow hosted the Met in December, they cruised to a 3-0 victory.
