Borough lost on last league outing, but progressed in Middlesex Senior Challenge Cup on Tuesday

Harrow Borough will hope to return to winning ways in the Bostik Premier on Saturday when they entertain Brightlingsea Regent.

Borough suffered a 2-1 loss at Harlow Town in the league last Saturday, despite Kurtis Cumberbatch opening the scoring at the Harlow Arena.

However, Steve Baker’s men recovered from that setback to win 3-2 at Bedfont Sports in the Middlesex Senior Challenge Cup on Tuesday night. Ant O’Connor, Adam Richards and Michael Bryan all netted in the win as the Earslmead Stadium club made it through to the second round.

Harrow will hope to carry that momentum back into the league as they look to get the better of an Rs side who also lost last weekend, going down 3-0 at home to Tonbridge Angels.

Regent are also without a manager currently after boss James Webster left to take up the same position with Aveley of the Bostik North earlier this month.
