Greelands Lane club thrashed Staines 99-12 in Herts/Middlesex One last weekend

Hendon will hope to reach the Middlesex Vase final with a victory at Feltham on Saturday.

The Greenlands Lane outfit take a break from Herts/Middlesex One action this Saturday and tackle Feltham, who ply their trade in Middlesex Merit Two.

Hendon warmed up for their cup semi-final with a record-breaking 99-12 win at home to Staines in the league last weekend.

Will Theaker and Cian Hynes both nabbed first-half braces, while Rossa Dooley, Billy Burrell, Tom Mathias, TJ O’Sullivan, Rob Casey and Donal O’Sullivan also dotted down as the Greenlands Lane side led 64-0 at the break.

Theaker added two further tries in the second half with Burrell also completing his hat-trick in addition to a second score from Casey.

Unsurprisingly, the success marked the biggest win of the season for Hendon.

And they will hope to take the confidence gained from that success into Saturday’s Middlesex Vase semi-final at Feltham.
