QUEEN S Park Harriers Brendan Green broke into the top 10 with an excellent run in Saturday s Chiltern League match at Wendover, Bucks. Green took 10th place over 9k with a time of 35 minutes 12 seconds, just reward for his heavy training programme, and

QUEEN'S Park Harriers' Brendan Green broke into the top 10 with an excellent run in Saturday's Chiltern League match at Wendover, Bucks.

Green took 10th place over 9k with a time of 35 minutes 12 seconds, just reward for his heavy training programme, and was followed in by Jerell El-Bahraoi in 36:13.

Wayne Roye worked his way through the field to finish in 56th in 40:12, with Jerry Grigg coming in 72nd, Richard Davis 89th and Frank Nolan 94th. Aaron Smith finished 122nd and Doddridge Benjamin completed the QPH contingent in 124th.

Peredur Jenkins made his debut for the under-13 boys, and showed terrific promise for the future, finishing in 15:33.

Debutants Holly Hunt (49th) and Nina Harris (51st) both impressed in the women's race.
