Shepherds Bush welterweight John O’Donnell will now defend his English title at York Hall next month after the venue was switched from Indigo at the O2 in Greenwich.

The 32-year-old will face Tamuka Mucha on February 16 on a joint-promotion between Hayemaker and Goodwin.

O’Donnell, a former Commonwealth champion, has won 32 of his 34 fights as a professional boxer

Mucha, meanwhile, has won 16 of his 17 fights since his first bout as a pro back in 2012.

Also on the bill is Hammersmith lightweight Mo Gharib, who competes in the paid ranks for the second time.

Both Gharib and O’Donnell are former members of the Dale Youth club, as is Daniel Dubois, who will defend his Southern Area heavyweight title in Stratford next month

Dubois faces DL Jones of Kent at the Copper Box on February 10.

The 20-year-old has six wins from six pro fights, all coming by knockout.
