St Robert Southwell completed a historic league and cup double after beating Gladstone Park 4-1 in the Brent Cup final.
Fresh from securing the Brent League North title, St Robert Southwell capped a memorable season with an impressive performance to lift the cup for the first time alongside the league crown.
The match could hardly have started better for St Robs, who took the lead after just 35 seconds.
A long throw from Eoin caused problems in the Gladstone Park penalty area and Andrei reacted quickest to slot the ball home.
St Robert Southwell continued to create chances and looked capable of extending their advantage, but a series of excellent saves from the Gladstone Park goalkeeper kept the score at 1-0.
Gladstone Park responded just before half-time when a powerful strike from distance flew into the top corner to level the scores at 1-1.
However, St Robs hit back immediately.
From the restart, Shay won possession with a superb tackle before driving forward and exchanging a neat one-two with Andrei.
The move ended with Andrei firing home his second goal of the game to restore his side's lead before the interval.
St Robert Southwell began the second half strongly in search of a crucial third goal.
Their pressure paid off when Joseph played an excellent through ball to Andrei, who unselfishly squared for Dion to make it 3-1.
Gladstone Park continued to battle and pushed forward in an attempt to get back into the contest, but the open nature of the game created further opportunities for St Robs on the counter-attack.
With seven minutes remaining, Andrei completed his hat-trick to seal a 4-1 victory and confirm a remarkable achievement for the school.
The success means St Robert Southwell have completed a league and cup double for the first time in the school's history.
Proud teacher and coach Mr Pascoe said: "The boys have achieved something really special.
"It has been a real team effort and they should all be very proud of their collective effort, especially Andrei, who scored the majority of the goals."
The victory capped an outstanding campaign and secured St Robert Southwell's place in the school's sporting history.
