Detectives are appealing for witnesses after the terrifying raid on a garage

A woman has been threatened with a gun during a robbery on a garage in which two men made off with less than �100.

Police were called shortly before 9.30pm on Saturday (22) night to an Esso garage in Watford Road, Wembley near to the Sudbury roundabout.

Two men had earlier entered the garage, and pointed a firearm at a woman working in the shop, before fleeing with �89 of cash stolen from the till and her mobile phone.

The gunman is a white man, aged in his mid 20’s, around 5ft 8ins to 5ft 10ins and of proportionate build. He was wearing a dark green parka style jacket, a black and white chequered scarf, dark green trousers and black and white trainers. He has blue eyes and blond hair and he spoke with a London accent.

The other man is 5ft 10ins to 6ft and was wearing a dark coloured jacked with a fur lined hood, with dark blue jeans and dark coloured trainers.

They made off on foot in the direction of Sudbury & Harrow Road railway station.
