A woman was treated for smoke inhalation after she was rescued from a fire in Sudbury yesterday evening.
Fire crews were called to the first-floor flat in Perrin Road, just after 6pm where they found the woman and successfully led her out of the building.
She was rushed to hospital for treatment.
The fire was under control 45 minutes later.
An investigation into the cause of the blaze is underway.
