An elderly pedestrian is fighting for her life following a collision with a lorry in Harlesden..
The 87-year-old woman was struck by the articulated heavy goods vehicle in Craven Park Road, at the junction with St Marys Road, On Friday at 3.40pm.
An air ambulance landed in a nearby children’s playground to allow paramedics to treat her at the scene prior to her being rushed to hospital in a critical condition.
The driver of the lorry stopped at the scene and has not been arrested.
Investigating officers are appealing for any witnesses to contact them on 020 8991 9555.
