A woman has suffered head injuries after she was reportedly hit by a piece of wood that fell from scaffolding in a street in Harlesden this afternoon.
An investigation by police is underway following the incident in Manor Park Road, at around 4pm.
She has been rushed to hospital where her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Road closures in Manor Park Road and Tavistock Road are in place to secure the scaffolding which has lead to traffic delays.
Buses on routes 18, 260 an and 266 are currently on diversion.
