A female pedestrian has been injured after she was hit by car in Kilburn High Road this afternoon.

The woman has been rushed to hospital following the accident at around 2.40pm.

Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The driver of the car stopped at the scene and was not arrested.

Drivers are being warned of traffic delays due to road closures are currently in place.
