A female pedestrian who was killed after being hit by a bin lorry in Park Royal has been named as a 57-year-old from Wembley.

Jashumati Patel died at the scene in Abbey Road at the junction with Eldon Way, on April 25 just before 9am.

The driver of the lorry stopped at the scene and was not arrested.

A post mortem examination gave the cause of her death as multiple injuries.

An inquest opened at North London Coroner’s Court and was adjourned until October 26.
