An elderly pedestrian who suffered serious injuries following a collision with a car in Wembley has died.

Wieslawa Stachowicz, 78, from Wembley, was left in a critical condition following the crash in Harrow Road near the junction with Clifton Avenue, involving a black BMW 7 Series on December 27 at around 9.15pm.

Police have revealed today she died on New Year’s Eve.

The driver of the car stopped at the scene and he was not arrested.
