It’s located in the heart of Brent, attracts millions of people to the borough and has now been named as one of the most expensive buildings in the world.
Wembley Stadium in Engineer’s Way, is the 17th priciest venue globally according to online website Fly Abu Dhabi.
The national stadium, which lost its tradition ‘twin towers’ when it was rebuilt in 2006, is estimated to have cost $1.5billion to build.
It is the only building in the UK to feature in the top 20 list.
According to the list it has 2,618 toilets which is the more lavatories than any other venue in the world.
Masjid Al-Haram in Saudi Arabia, the world largest mosque, was named the most expensive venue with an estimated building cost of $100bn.
